Can you put acne treatment gel all over your face?

That’s fine, but only put a little on like you said, and keep it far away from your eyes.

For spot treatments it will dry out your face so make sure to moisturize.

No do not do this. Places where acne is not present on your face is not a good idea because the bases used in acne gel will extract all of the moisture from your skin causing it to crack and get potentially damaged when exposed to sunlight.
Edit: It will be better for your acne proneness if you apply a vigorous apricot scrub in the shower every couple of days instead.
