I’ve noticed that after a few months, acne treatments fail me. What are some good treatments that you have used? Do you have any allergies? I think I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide; I developed a mild irritation. Currently I am using the Vichy Normaderm line but I am looking for something to use on the acne, not any facial washes/lotions since Vichy is great when it comes to washes and lotions.

I used to have moderately bad acne and started using Proactiv. It has been working quite well but it is a little pricy and a little more time consuming than other products. I can’t trust any of the 1000s of other products that I’m reading about so I’d just like to know what product is working best for everyone.

I’ve even used ProActive for a couple of years with only mediocre (if thats how you spell it) results. So I was wondering, instead of going back to the doctors, what are some of the best drugstore acne treatments out there? I have sensitive skin also so I have to be careful. And if anyone knows what makeup will help me not to breakout, that’d be great too.

And please, no one say ProActive. I’m not trying that again.

I currently suffer from acne and scarring, after visiting a local spa they recommended me to undergo ‘Ultra VPL’ treatment.
A suggestion was to do 4 treatments in the 1st week then have regular monthly treatments.
As this is quite costly I want to be sure that this is effective for acne in the long term.
