Updated Skincare Routine – How I Cleared My Acne!

Tuesday, September 6th, 2011

Hey dolls! Ive been really excited to do an updated skin care routine because the past 1-2 months my skin had cleared SO much! After using the products mentioned in this video, I still get the occasional breakout but all the persistant acne I had for 2 years has completley gone. When it comes to skincare, less is definatley more. Dont put loads of different productslotions on your face trying to clear your skin because itll just make it worse. Find a good skincare routine that works for your skintypeproblems and give it at least 2 months before switching up again. If you have a lot of acne that doesnt go away (like I did!), make an appointment with your doctor because theyll be able to give you some options to help you out. FTC: Eveyrthing shown was purchaced by me with my own money. The Duac Once Daily Gel was perscribed to me by my doctor. All oppinions are my own. I am not being paid. xoxo

Acne Clearing Diet: How to eat when dining out (Seasons 52)

Thursday, August 25th, 2011

I like to dine out. It is one of my favorite things but I hate not knowing where my food comes from or how it is prepared. If you suffer from acne, you may also feel the same way. I LOVE Seasons 52 because many things are organic and they do not use much butter or oil in any of their meals since everything on the menu is 475 calories or LESS people! I try to eat vegetables with every meal and a lean protein. I rarely ever eat red meat but sometimes I treat myself (like today). I started suffering acne after I used the birth control NuvaRing. I had not had acne since I was a teenager until I used birth control. Within a few days of starting birth control my skin broke out in cysts that were painful. I also got way more whiteheads and blackheads. I used the birth control for 3 month and then I stopped. That was 3 months ago and my skin is still acne prone. I cant seem to shake this acne. I am hoping my skin will normalize again sometime sooner rather than later. I am trying to eat very clean to help prevent further acne and clear the acne I currently have. I am taking Oracea, which is a rosacea medicine and also I am drinking 6 teaspoons of cod liver oil everyday. Other than that, I am not putting anything on my face. No topical meds that is. I am trying to clear my acne with diet and supplements alone. Although my acne is hormonal, diet can affect hormones.
